With warehouse spaces getting more and more cramped, the use of VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) trucks is becoming increasingly popular. Their main task is stacking goods and, sometimes also order picking. What differs them from other tracks is the unique method of steering (they are guided by a rail or a wire). Depending on the kind of the truck, the operator may stay at the ground level or is located at the picking level. It is commonly said that these types of trucks are best for optimising storage space and offer a unique opportunity to handle pallets in narrow spaces. Some of the models can pick weights as heavy as 1.5 ton. The participants will delve into the topic of using the truck and will be made aware of issues such as balancing the load, refuelling procedures, stacking the goods and proper use of hydraulic systems.
